PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring-shaped brazing material having no need of applying flux at the time of brazing, having no generation such as deformation or uneven fusion at the time of brazing a tubular non-ferrous metallic member with each other, and at the same time capable of being produced easily and at a low cost. SOLUTION: (a) Metallic powder of brazing material and flux powder are evenly mixed, and (b) the obtained mixture of powder is subjected to press forming, thereby a green compactlike billet is produced. (c) This green compactlike billet is subjected to hot extrusion into pipe-shape, and (d) by crosswise cutting of this pipe a seamless ring-shaped brazing material is obtained, which has a relative density of >=0.90 and has even dispersion of flux in the brazing metal.
