PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly print a tape irrespective of a feed speed and a change in feed speed by setting a nozzle for supplying a liquid ink to a printing mechanism in accordance with a demand quantity at each time in an apparatus for supplying the ink to the printing mechanism for printing one sheet of a cigarette paper in a cigarette continuous producing machine. SOLUTION: When a tape 1 of a cigarette wrapping paper drawn out from a bobbin reaches a printing roller 3 through a deflecting roller 2, an impression image is printed to the tape. A liquid ink at this time is introduced from a cartouche (storage container) 7 to an inlet 9a of an inking apparatus 11 through a conduit 9 and supplied as a liquid-ink-air-mixture 13 from an outlet 12a of a nozzle 12 to a gap 14 between a pair of feed rollers 16 and 17. At this time, a clock mechanism 22 is used to meet an alternating feed speed of the tape 1. An open time of a transfer valve 23 interposed to a compressed air conduit 21 connected to the inking apparatus 11 is changed by the clock mechanism 22 to be long or short depending on the tape feed speed. |
