PURPOSE: AN electronic musical instrument played by connecting to a computer is to provide a musical instrument at a reasonable price by using the sound card inside the computer, a wide variety of programs to select by upgrading the sound related program and to provide an instrument which can be carried easily. CONSTITUTION: An electronic musical instrument comprises a key input part(10) a circuit part(20), a computer(40), a speaker(50) and a CPU(46). the circuit part(20) and the computer(40) are connected through the parallel port(30). The parallel port(30) comprises an output terminal and an input terminal. The circuit part selects the key input at the key input part(10) outputs it as input terminal of the parallel port. The speaker(50) outputs the sound of instrument corresponding to the key input at the key input part. Te computer(40) stores the instrumental sound at the program storing part(48). The program storing part can manage the sound data and make the sound using the sound chip provided by the sound card(42).
