PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an error in judging the position of a following object by receiving signals in response to first and second places generated at the plural positions of an object after introducing an article into the place of energy and deciding the spatial coordinates of the object in response to the signals and a decided characteristic. SOLUTION: After introducing the metallic device 40 of the object to the neighborhood of a probe 20 being the first energy place driving respective coils 22, 24 and 26 by respective driving circuits 30, 32 and 33, the characteristic of the second energy place inducing the respective coils 22, 24 and 26 in response to the first energy place in the neighborhood of the device 40 is decided. Then, a signal generated by sensor coils 27 to 29 provided at the probe 20 with respect to the first and second energy is received by a signal processing circuit 34 and the coordinates of the position and direction of the probe 20 are next fixed by calculating the coordinates by a computer 36. Thus, the error in judging the position of the following object can be prevented. |
