DOUBLE-BLIND LABEL AND METHOD FOR DOUBLE-BLIND LABELLING

A double-blinded label and a method for double-blind labelling a container are provided. The double-blind label comprises a multilayer identification and a multilayer doubleblinded label. The double-blind label may include a tab extending beyond an edge of the label to secure the label when placed on a container. The double-blind label may also include a protective layer on one portion of the label to allow easy removal of that portion from the container while another portion of the label remains adhered to the container. The method comprises first printing on the identification label, attaching the blinding label then placing the label on a container. In a preferred embodiment, the method is continuous.
