PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly jig to improve workability to intercouple the tip of the lower arm of a suspension and the lower end of a shock absorber with excellent workability without needing a heavy muscular work. SOLUTION: An assembly jig for suspension M is used when the tip of a lower arm 4 elastically supported at a car body and approximately horizontally extending and the lower end of a shock absorber 8 fixed at the car body and extending downward are intercoupled with the lower arm 4 pressed down. A plurality of lock claws 3 are opened and closed in an umbrella-form manner and brought into a containing state along the outer peripheral surface of a double acting type cylinder device 1 during containing the cylinder device and opened through expansion of the cylinder device 1. During contraction state of the cylinder device 1, the cylinder device 1 is inserted from a position below the through-hole 42 of the lower arm 4, a plurality of lock claws 3 are positioned above the lower arm 4 and the tip of the cylinder device 1 is brought into contact with the car body. By expansion of the cylinder device 1, and the lower arm 4 is pressed down by the lock claws 3 relatively lowered and moved toward the tip.
