PURPOSE: A selection control system of horizontal frequency is provided to prevent the damage of the circuit by preventing error horizontal frequency switching or power operation. CONSTITUTION: A selection control system of horizontal frequency comprises a vibrator(300)generating signals(301), dividers(415,415a) having at least two selective counts and coupled to the vibrator, a horizontal scan amplifier(500), and a controller(600) coupled to the amplifier(500) and the dividers(415,415a). The controller(600) monitors the presence of scan signals(501) in response to one of plural horizontal scan frequencies and enables the second selection among at least two selective counts if no presence of the scan signal(501). The dividers generate horizontal driving signal(401) of the plural horizontal scan frequencies.
