摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity drainage structure of a gas diffusion electrode which may be easily assembled and separated by mechanical joining of a cathode current collecting frame and a cathode chamber frame and is capable of minimizing the structure resistance in this cathode current collecting frame. SOLUTION: This structure is provided with the cathode current collecting frame 1 for forming a barrier to segment a gas chamber disposed on the gas chamber side of the gas diffusion electrode. A conductive rib 5 for electricity drainage is outwardly projected at its rear surface. A conductive insert fitting 7 is mounted by means of a bolt 8 to a position facing the conductive rib 5 of a cathode chamber frame conductor 6 of an electrolytic cell facing the cathode current collecting frame 1. The conductive rib 5 of the cathode current collecting frame 1 is connected by inserting the rib to this insert fitting 7.
