PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device of an industrial vehicle which allows performing a static steering operation while operating a brake pedal. SOLUTION: A selector valve 41 is provided in an air circuit 40 leading to a rear air chamber 28 from a double check valve 15. The selector valve 41 makes a closing movement when a brake pedal 42 is operated with a traveling speed equal to or less than a set value. When the traveling speed is equal to or less than the set value with the brake pedal 42 operated, the selector valve 41 is converted to the attitude of the closing movement to shut the air circuit 40; that is, by actuating the double check valve 15 through the operation of the brake pedal 42, a braking force is generated at a front axle drum brake 26 via a front air chamber 25, while a braking force is not longer generated at a rear axle drum brake 29 due to shutting of air supplied to the rear air chamber 28, whereby a static steering operation for a steering wheel can be performed.
