PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of adequately recording data in a simple structure on recording sheets which are conveyed in parallel. SOLUTION: Each of top ends of at least two recording sheets P1, P2 which are conveyed by a conveying means 25 is detected by detecting means S1A, S1B, respectively. A control means determines one of the recording sheets which firstly reached a recording position based on the detected signals of the detecting means S1A, S1B. A recording means is controlled such that the data is sequentially recorded on the recording sheets by starting from one which firstly reached the recording position.
