PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamber capable of automatically carrying out operations from taking in of noodle long strips to the chamber to taking out and holding even a large amount of noodle long strips. SOLUTION: This chamber for aging noodle long strips is equipped with a taking-in apparatus 3 which forms a transportation route 2, places bundles of noodle long strips at fixed intervals and sends the bundles into the chamber, a taking-in control means which stops the operation of the taking-in apparatus 3 in a state of the bundles having reached the end part of the transportation route 2 and restarting the operation in a state of the removal of the bundles, plural bundle hanging members 5 having recessed parts 4 for supporting the bundles and formed approximately in parallel with the transportation route 2, a longitudinal transportation apparatus 6 which successively moves the bundle hanging members 5, scoops the bundles on the transportation route 2 from below and successively transports the bundles to the top of the chamber 1 when the taking-in apparatus 3 is stopped, a longitudinal transportation control means for stopping the operation of the longitudinal transportation apparatus 6 in a state of the first bundle hanging member 5 having reached the top of the chamber 1, and with a taking-out apparatus 7 for receiving the bundles from the bundle hanging members 5 sent to the top of the chamber and taking out the bundles from the chamber 1. |
