PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silica fertilizer and a soil conditioner that can be readily synthesized at room temperature and is applicable to crop plants that need siliceous components in the soil, for example, rice plant, and as a soil conditioner. SOLUTION: This inorganic composition for fertilizer and soil conditioner comprises amorphous silicate salt hydrate and the silicate hydrate contains calcium and/or magnesium and potassium. As for the whole SiO2 in the silicate salt hydrate, its leaching rate is extremely high into 4 wt.% citrate buffer solution (the initial pH value is 5.5). |
