PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise, and to sharply reduce a side slip by lateral directional traction by providing the forward projecting part and the backward projecting part in a zigzag shape, and installing them on the outer peripheral surface of a wheel by incorporating the forward/backward projecting parts in the outer peripheral direction of the wheel. SOLUTION: This segment tire 10 is installed on a wheel by successively combining Z shapes having the forward projecting part 1b and the backward projecting part 1c. A bolt 3 welded to core metal 2 is offered for installation with the wheel. Since the crown part in the forward/backward projecting parts 1b, 1c of the segment tire 10 always contacts with the traveling surface when a wheel rotates in the arrow direction, generation of vibration and noise is extremely reduced. While, when force is applied in the lateral direction of the wheel since the side parts 1e of the forward/backward projecting parts 1b, 1c are opposed at a right angle to this force traction is large, so that the occurrence of a side slip as the wheel is reduced.
