PURPOSE: A method and a device for driving the LCD panel is provided to prevent the signal voltage in which liquid cells are charged from being distorted by delaying the data signals which are to be supplied to the signal line. CONSTITUTION: A computer comprises a gate driving IC chips(32A, 34E) in order to drive the gate line of the liquid crystal panel(30), and data driving IC chips(34A, 34H) in order to drive the data line of the liquid crystal panel. The gate line comprises a plurality of gate lines and gate electrodes of the TFT are connected to each of the gate line. The gate driving IC chips divide and drive the plurality of gate lines. A method of the computer comprises a step of supplying pulse type scanning voltage to the gate line and a step of supplying the data signal voltage to the signal line. The method further comprises a step of supplying data signal voltage to the signal line and the signal voltage having different width according to the location of the signal line.
