PURPOSE: An LED for control unit of television is provided to automatically emit a control unit through an LED and a fluorescent plate by simple motion of door opening and closing, thereby easily operating the control unit in dark indoor. CONSTITUTION: An LED for control unit of television comprises plural operating buttons(110),a control unit(120) connected to a rear substrate(130), a door(210) mounted in front of the control unit(120), an LED unit(170) and an LED switch(200). The LED unit(170) has a fluorescent plate(140) mounted on the edge of the control unit, light reflecting pieces(150) mounted on both ends of the plate(140), and an LED(160) protruded on the substrate(130). The switch(200) has operating bars(190) mounted on both sides of the control unit(120), and takes ON/OFF the LED unit(170) in opening/closing the door(210).
