PURPOSE: A method for implementing a repeatedly zooming function is provided to repeatedly perform a function capable of shooting a predetermined window of an object's screen, by rapidly magnifying to predetermined magnification and a medium speed, by selecting the predetermined window of the object's screen, by compounding an optical zooming function and a digital zooming function. CONSTITUTION: A camcorder having a repeating digital zooming function comprises: a repeating digital zooming selection key for setting up a repeating digital zooming mode; a screen selection/image magnifier for selecting a predetermined window in inputted whole screen, and magnifying the selected window to a predetermined magnification and a predetermined zoom speed; a memory for storing information on the window, the magnification, and the zoom speed; and a CPU(Central Processing Unit) for controlling the screen selection/image magnifier, by having the information on the obtained magnification and the zoom speed, when a command of the digital zooming selection key is inputted. The camcorder expresses emphasis or surprise on special shot screen.
