METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF AGGLOMERATE

PURPOSE: A method of preparation of agglomerate is provided which could improve the recovery rate of a high-quality agglomerate. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: (i) separation step where ores are separated according to the appropriate standard particle size and the content of moisture; (ii) first mixing step where the separate ores having high particle size and low moisture content as nuclear particles and the separate ores having low particle size and high moisture content as adhesive particles are mixed together; (iii) second mixing step where the separate ores having high particle size and low moisture content as nuclear particles and the separate ores having low particle size and high moisture content, side materials and cokes as adhesive particles are mixed together; (iv) granulation step where the mixed agglomerating materials from the second mixing step are granulated with adding moisture; (v) third mixing step where the mixed agglomerating materials from the first mixing step and the mixed agglomerating materials from the second mixing step are mixed together with adding moisture; and (vi) agglomeration step where the mixed agglomerating materials from the third mixing step are agglomerated with burning cokes, where the ratio of mixed cokes in the first mixing step is greater than that of the second mixing step.
