<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous polyurethane dispersion capable of providing good appearance and durability after drying, further providing a non-adhesive finish, and usable for the finish of leather. SOLUTION: This aqueous polyurethane dispersion is obtained by regulating the molar ratio of a polyol of the component (a) to the total of polyols (b) and (d) so as to be (1:1.5)-(1:4), preferably (1:2)-(1:3), and the molar ratio of the total of the polyols (a), (b) and (d) to the polyisocyanate (c) so as to be (1:1.1)-(1:2.5), preferably (1:1.2)-(1:1.7). The polyurethane has 2-6, preferably 2-4 OH functionality, and <15,000 g/mol, preferably 2,500-10,000 g/mol, especially 3,000-7,000 g/mol number-average molecular weight.</p> |
