PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annealing separative agent, with which a glassy film is not formed at the last finish annealing time and this agent does not scorch and the carburization is not developed and therefore, a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet having good punching property and magnetic characteristic is obtd. SOLUTION: In the annealing separative agent consisting essentially of oxide used for the finish annealing of the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet, a water soluble polimer binder is contained under condition satisfying the inequalityρfηω<70 t. The grain-oriented silicon steel sheet having good punching property and magnetic characteristic, with which the glassy film is not formed at the last finish annealing time and the annealing separative agent does not seize and the carburization is not developed, is obtd. by using the annealing separative agent for grain oriented silicon steel sheet. Wherein,ω: coating quantity (g/m2) of the annealing separative agent,ρ: the binder concn. (wt.%) in the annealing separative agent, f: C concn. in the binder (wt. partial ratio)η: (C-O)/C ratio in the chemical formula of the binder and t: The thickness (mm) of the steel sheet.
