PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of ensuring different running performance by changing a king pin offset amount. SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 10 has a step difference 24 in a tire equatorial surface position of a tread 18. Accordingly, an averaged value in a car width direction of a tire diameter from a tire rotary axis to a tread surface is different (R1≠R2) between a left side (large diametric part) 10A and a right side (small diametric part) 10B from the tire equatorial surface position. As a result, the load center in the case of mounting the tire in a vehicle is deviated in the car width direction from the tire equatorial surface position. Accordingly, running performance of the vehicle is changed by adjusting a king pin offset amount. That is, the tire is mounted so as to place the large diametric part 10A in an outer side, to improve wandering performance, and when mounted in an inner side, to improve control stability.
