PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new pyridazinone compound having strong inhibiting action on cell adhesion, and capable of providing medicament having excellent anti-inflammatory, antiasthmetic and antirheumatic actions. SOLUTION: This new pyridazinone compound is a pyridazinone derivative of formula I (wherein, R1 is phenyl or an aromatic heterocycle; R2 is a 1-8C alkyl, phenyl, an aralkyl or the like; R3 is H, a 1-8C alkyl, phenyl or the like; R4 is cyano or the like; X is single bond, O or the like) or its pharmaceutically permissible salt, e.g. 6-acetyl-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-4-(4-chlorophenylthio)-5-methyl-3(2 H)-pyridazinone. The compound of formula I is obtained e.g. by reacting a compound of formula II (wherein, R5 is H, a 1-8C alkyl or the like) with a compound of formula III (wherein, A is a halogen; and E is a halogen or a 1-8C alkoxy) to form a compound of formula IV and then reacting the compound of formula IV with a compound of formula IV (wherein, R11 is a 1-8C alkyl or the like; and G is O or S) at 0 deg.C to room temperature for 1-24 h. in the presence of a base.
