PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items, to shorten a manufacturing process and to reduce the cost by integrating a presser plate and a shaft. SOLUTION: This electric winch is constituted of an electric motor, housings 2, 3, a drum 8 stored in the housing 2, and a wire 4 wound on the drum 8. A presser plate 5 integrated with a rotary shaft is rotatably journalled to a pair of shaft holes A-1, B-1 arranged in the housings 2, 3. When components other than a spring 6 are assembled, the winding section of the spring 6 is arranged on the right side, tip bend sections at two positions are inserted into a pair of shaft holes A-2 of the housing 2, then the winding section is thrust in the direction X. The U-shaped section of the spring 6 is supported and fitted in contact with the tip bend section of the presser plate 5. The spring 6 can be easily removed by reversely conducting the work, the number of part items is reduced, a manufacturing process can be shortened, and the cost can be reduced.
