PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a following tolerance corresponding to collapse during connection and keep a good wiring state, by pressing and holding a wire conductor into a U-slit of a terminal, by shifting either a wire fixing position or a connector terminal position or both in the axial direction of the wire, and by applying a reaction force axially in relation to a terminal connecting portion by bending the terminal in the plate thickness direction. SOLUTION: A wire 2 is pressed into a U-slit 3 of a terminal 1, a coating 2a is cut by facing edges or right and left holding pieces 4, 4, an exposed portion of a wire conductor 2b is held into the U-slit 3, and this reaction force provides a contact force between the terminal 1 and the conductor 2b to wire them. For maintaining a support force of the U-slit 3 for the conductor 2b, either or both of a fixing position of the after-wiring wire 2 and the terminal 1 are shifted in the axial direction of the wire 2, the terminal 1 is bent in the plate thickness direction to apply the reaction force to a wiring portion of the terminal 1. The U-slit 3 presses the wire conductor 2b from collapses 2c, 2c positions to an un-collapse position to generate the support force for the U-slit 3.
