PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-resistive head transporting carrier which has a surface resistance value stable at 104 to 1012Ω/(square), is homogeneous in surface characteristics and is extremely little in the generation of particles by scratching, friction and washing. SOLUTION: This head is constituted by molding a resin composition prepared by compounding carbon fibrils of <=100 nm in fiber diameter and >=5 in the ratio of a fiber length and the fiber diameter at 0.1 to 8 pts.wt. with 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin material. The surface resistance value measured by setting a probe diameter at 2 mm and an inter-probe distance at 20 mm is preferably 104 to 1012Ω/(square).
