PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC mounter in which the air blow pressure or the flow rate of air blow is controlled according to the information of IC size, number of bumps, or the like. SOLUTION: The IC chip mounter 1 comprises a holding tool 3 for IC 2, a driver 4 for driving the holding tool to perform suction/mounting operation, and an IC mounting controller 5 for conrolling the driver. The IC mounting controller 5 comprises a memory section for storing the information of the IC and the holding tool, a section for inputting recognition information of the IC to be mounted and the holding tool to be used, and a section for fetching information stored in the memory section depending on the recognition information and selecting a blow pressure corresponding to the IC. The driver 4 is provided with an air supply line section 14 coupled with an air supply source 13 and having three air lines 22, 24, 26 for supplying air of different pressure, and a pressure control section 15 for selecting an air line based on a command from the selecting section and outputting a specified blow pressure. |
