PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor which makes maintenance and cleaning work of various devices provided on a paper money carrying path simple and improves the work efficiency. SOLUTION: An attaching and detaching means 61 consists of guide grooves 62 formed on both sides of the inner circumferential surface of a device body 52, a guide projections 65 which are formed on both side faces of a box 9 and are guided by the grooves 62, a guide projection escaping hole 66 which is just in front of a guide groove end 62b and formed upward over the grooves 62 and a guide projection supporting hole 67 which is at both side faces of the body 52 and formed at the end 62b, the box 9 is attached or detached to/ from the body 52 in a freely slidable way by inserting fittingly or escaping the projections 65 into/from the grooves 62 through the hole 67, and the box 9 attached to the body 52 in a freely slidable way is also supported by the body 52 in a freely rotatable way when the projections 65 are inserted fittingly into the hole 67.
