PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an identification system of a small piece of cloth to be attached to clothing which allows the small piece of cloth to be attached to the clothing approved by a legitimate claimant to be discriminated from an imitation thereof and eventually allows genuine merchandise to be discriminated from imitation merchandise. SOLUTION: A static electricity removing yarn 3 is woven as weaving yarn to a prescribed position of a name label body 1 which is a small piece of cloth to be attached to a clothing X. Whether the name label attached to the clothing X is the name label approved by the legitimate claimant or not can be known by whether an electric discharge is detected by a static electricity discharge detector 4 or not when an electrified body (a finger 6 in Fig.) of static electricity is brought into contact with a prescribed position of the name label body 1.
