PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a package at low cost by mounting a circuit element required for a function to the rear surface of a piezoelectric oscillator and then providing a frame-like pedestal or a housing part in the state of surrounding this circuit element so as to mount many electronic parts in a limited area. SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator is formed of a ceramic package 10, IC 33, a crystal oscillation board 3 and a lid 2. The circuit element 4 constituting a voltage control circuit is plurally mounted to an electrode pad on the rear surface of the package 10 and electrically and mechanically connected by soldering, etc. The frame-like pedestal 5 is made of ceramics such as alumina, etc., and connecting electrodes 51 to 54 correspond-connected with lead out electrodes 14 and 15, 16,... are formed on it. These electrodes are respectively pulled out by external connecting electrodes 55 to 58 through internal wirings. Then, this pedestal 5 is connected to the rear surface of the ceramic package by soldering, etc. Consequently, the element 4 is in the state of being surrounded by the frame-like pedestal.
