PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote controller whose cost is reduced by decreasing the number of parts items. SOLUTION: A changeover function section consists of a Hall IC 12 which is placed on a printed board 10 of a main body section and a magnet section 14 that is provided to a cover 4. Furthermore, a locking function section consists of a metal plate 13 made of iron or the like provided to an upper part of the Hall IC 12 of the main body section and the magnet section 14. The magnet section 14 can be used in common for a changeover function and a lock function. That is, the single magnet section 14 is sufficient for the Hall IC 12 for the changeover function and the metal 13 for a holding function.
