PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the output of a gas turbine generator roughly constant even if atmospheric temperature changes, by using a variable-speed generator as a generator driven by a gas turbine, and AC-energizing the secondary winding of the variable-speed generator. SOLUTION: This variable-speed gas turbine generator is provided with a compressor which introduces and compresses air, a combustor which burns the air and fuel compressed by a compressor, a gas turbine driven by the combustion gas from the combustor, and a generator 5 whose primary winding 15 is connected to a power system and whose secondary winding 16 is AC- energized. The generator 5 having the primary winding 15 and the secondary winding 16 energized using three-phase alternating current is formed so as to keep the frequency of AC energizing current variable even if a rotor is in a mechanically stationary condition. Thus, it is possible to keep the frequency outputted from the generator 5 roughly constant.
|
