PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stably detectable the feeding speed and to make stably executable a magnetic recording, without complicating the constitution, while being hardly affected by the fluctuation of the recording medium feeding speed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with feed speed detecting means 13 (perforation sensor circuit), 14a, 14b (photo sensor) and 1 (personal computer) for detecting plural signal parts which are installed at previously set intervals on a magnetic information recordable recording medium and detecting the recording medium feed speed, a storing means 7 for storing information on at least two or more kinds of feed speed detected by the feed speed detecting means, and a deciding means 1 for deciding the magnetic recording frequency for recording on the recording medium by using information on plural kinds of the feed speed stored by the storing means 7, prior to the magnetic information recording operation.
