PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic welder capable of remotely performing repairing welding work even in piping of the central part of spaceless closely standing piping groups. SOLUTION: An automatic welder welds a repairing rings 27 divided into two parts on the piping outer periphery in a mutually opposed jostling state by being hung in from the upper part of piping (a). In this case, the automatic welder has a fixing member 30 detachably fixed to the piping outer periphery through a clamp mechanism, a turning shaft 10 supported by the fixing member 30 through a turning mechanism so as to be turnable, a movable ring supply mechanism hung by the fixing member 30, arranged in a pair on the outer periphery of the turning shaft 10 and capable of positioning one of the repairing rings 27 in a prescribed position by respectively gripping one of the repairing rings, movable welding torch mechanisms arranged in a pair on the outer periphery of the turning shaft 10 by sandwiching the ring supply mechanism and capable of welding the repairing rings 27 on the piping outer periphery by positioning a welding torch 28 in a prescribed position, a monitoring CCD camera mounted on the welding torch mechanism and a control panel capable of operating the clamp mechanism, the turning mechanism, the ring supply mechanism and the welding torch mechanism by remote control.
