PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate and store management data related to image data without interrupting a reading operation of an original in the image-filing system consisting of an image reader and a host device. SOLUTION: In this image-filing system, information in a specific designated color is additionally described to each original read by an image reader, and the image reader transfer resulting data to a host device as color data. The host device reads the image information part in the specific color from read image data 1 to obtain recognition data 3, and an OCR reader converts the recognition data into character information for generating management data 3a related to filing data 2 generated from the read image data 1. |
