PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reception characteristic by using a synchronization detection system and to generate a carrier in response to a phase fluctuation of fading with high accuracy in spite of a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: The detector is provided with an IF phase reference signal generating section (PPLL) 20 to generate a phase reference signal synchronous with a carrier and an instantaneous phase detector (PDET) 15 receiving the phase reference signal detects a phase of an IF reception signal. The detector is also provided with a phase difference detection section (DDET) 16 that obtains a change (phase difference) in the unit of baud rate and gives this phase difference signal to an automatic frequency control circuit(AFC) 19, which detects a frequency error of a reference clock required to generate a phase reference signal and to correct the frequency error. Thus, the reception characteristic is improved without increasing a fluctuation noise of a received signal and the carrier is generated from the reference clock controlled by the phase difference signal not affected with a fading phase fluctuation so as to easily generate the carrier and synchronization detection is conducted by a simple circuit. |
