摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satellite communication system by which communication quality is enhanced by setting the positions of proximal points in inclining oval orbits in the Southern Hemisphere, setting the position of the proximal point at a place deviated from Japan by means of specified degree in the longitude and setting the positions of distal points of the inclining oval orbits up in the sky of Japan. SOLUTION: The inclining oval orbits are the ones with 12-hour orbit period and provided with a common ellipticity and ascending node longitudes are arranged at equal intervals. The proximal points 15 are positioned in latitude in the Southern Hemisphere and positioned in the latitude deviated from Japan by 90 deg.. The distal points 16 are positioned up in the sky of Japan and at the place deviated in longitude from Japan by 180 deg.. When one satellite is arranged in each inclining oval orbit and moved along a ground locus 17, the arrangement of the three satellites is adjusted to permit the time interval of them to be equal. Then, at least one satellite normally appears in a communication area with the distal point 16 as a center, which is positioned in the sky of Japan, by a visual field angle being more than a certain fixed angle of elevation and, then, propagation loss and delay are made to be small.
