PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EOS(electro-optical sampling) oscilloscope capable of correcting error of output value of lamp circuit and improving the accuracy of timing signal. SOLUTION: A fast lamp circuit 41 outputs a lamp waveform by a trigger of a trigger signal Str. A slow lamp circuit 42 input by a timing signal Stm counts it up with a counter 42a, reads out the content of an address memory 42c corresponding to the count value and D/A-converts with a D/A converter circuit 42b to output. A comparator circuit 43 compares the output of the fast lamp circuit 41 and the output of the slow lamp circuit 42 and according to the results, produces the timing signal Stm. A correction means 44 writes the correction value in the memory 42c according to the output value of the comparator circuit 43. The D/A converter circuit 42b D/A-converts the value after correction to output.
