PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device of manufacturing photo prints. SOLUTION: In order to prepare the photo print of an original present in an electronic format, an optically reproduced image D is prepared by successively converting the stripe shape part of the original with a converter 3 for performing an electrooptical pixel-like operation, and then the optically reproduced image D is projected to the stripe-shape exposure area (E=E1+E2) of a copy material P. In this case, the stripe shape exposure area E and the copy material P are moved relatively in the direction of crossing the longitudinal direction of the stripe shape exposure area E basically at a fixed speed. As a result, the image information of the entire original is continuously exposed to all the usable surfaces of the copy material P. Thus, a large format photo print of high quality is easily prepared.
