PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate adjustment related to temperature compensation and build a temperature compensating device ensuring a higher accuracy into a digital load cell. SOLUTION: A strain gage is attached to a strain-generating body of a load cell 2, thereby forming a bridge circuit 1. A temperature detecting means with a temperature sensor 7 independent of the bridge circuit 1 is provided. A signal processing circuit is set to a microcomputer 8 connected to the bridge circuit 1 and the temperature detecting means, which is mounted to the load cell. The signal processing circuit of the microcomputer 8 has a bridge circuit span/ temperature characteristic adjusting means 8a, a signal processing circuit span/ temperature characteristic adjusting means 8b, a digital load cell zero point/ temperature characteristic adjusting means 8c and a digital load cell span/ temperature characteristic adjusting means 8d.
