摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow high residual magnetization with high coercive force and to improve temperature characteristics of the coercive force to specify an average crystal particle size, while represented by a specific formula with main hard magnetic phase being TbCu7 type crystal structure. SOLUTION: The magnetic material is represented by a formula (R is at least one element selected among rare earth elements comprising Y, M is at least one element selected among Ti and Nb, X is at least one element selected among C, N, 0, B, S, and P, while 0.1<=x<=0.6, 0<=y<=0.6, 5<=z<=12, 0<=u<=3 related to x, y, z, and u), and a main hard magnetic phase is TbCu7 type crystal structure, with average crystal particle size 5-200 nm. The magnet material is improved in saturation magnetization (residual magnetization) and coercive force, with temperature characteristics of the coercive force improved.
