<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic latent image developing black toner which maintains electrostatic chargeability and physical properties suitable for image formation, has high black density and exhibits no color rendering property. SOLUTION: The black toner consists essentially of colored particles containing a bonding resin, carbon black, a cyan pigment, a magenta pigment and a yellow pigment and of an additive. The concentration (CCB wt.%) of the carbon black, the concentration (CC wt.%) of the cyan pigment, the concentration (CM wt.%) of the magenta pigment and the concentration (CY wt.%) of the yellow pigment in the colored particles preferably satisfy the formula CCB>=CM>=CC>=CY.</p> |
