PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the cable holding mechanism of electronic equipment which moves on an enclosure from blocking the back face, etc., of the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A cable 8 which connects electronic equipment 7 that can be pulled out forward from an enclosure 6 to the enclosure 6 is held by means of a cable holder 2 composed of two plates 2a and 2b. The plates 2a and 2b are connected to each other through a hinge and the other ends of the plates 2a and 2b are connected to brackets 15 and 16 through hinges. The brackets 15 and 16 are journaled by horizontal rotating shafts 4 and 3 which are provided to fixtures 4 and 3 fixed to the back face of the equipment 7 or enclosure 7 at different heights. When the equipment 7 is pulled out forward from the enclosure 6, the cable holder 2 bends and stretches in accordance with the movement of the equipment 7 and, when the equipment 7 is pushed deep into the enclosure 6, the holder 2 rotates in the direction shown by the arrow 19 around the rotating shaft 18 and the plates 2a and 2b become almost horizontal.
