PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an image with high image quality without distortion and color slurring by applying scaling processing to aberration correction parameter based on at least one of an electronic magnification, number of input pixels, a size of an input image and a size of an output image and using the aberration correction parameter that is scaling-processed for the parameter corresponding to a pixel unit of output image data to correction an aberration of the image resulting from a lens used to photograph an image. SOLUTION: A correction parameter supply section 74 stores an aberration correction parameter of an image corresponding to various lens types at an image forming plane. A correction parameter supply section 74 selects a aberration correction parameter corresponding to a lens type used to photograph the image and gives the parameter to a correction parameter conversion section 75. The correction parameter conversion section 75 applies scaling processing to the aberration correction parameter and gives it to an aberration correction section 72 as the aberration correction parameter in the unit of pixels of the output image. The aberration correction section 72 uses the aberration correction parameter received from the correction parameter conversion section 75 to correct a distortion and a magnification chromatic aberration of the image.
