PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a frame chassis structure which satisfies both of falling strength and heat radiation characteristic by providing the reinforcing frames disposed on the rear surface of the frame chassis with vent holes and further improving the heat radiation characteristic by a method of arranging these vent holes. SOLUTION: The frame chassis 3 consists of the structure which is provided with the reinforcing frames 32 and 33 in a grid form so as to intersect orthogonally the respective sides of a display panel 1 on the rear surface and is provided with the vent holes at both of the reinforcing frames 32 and 33 at nearly equal intervals. The deflection of the display panel 1 induced by the falling impact during, for example, transportation, is suppressed and the damage of the display panel 1 can be avoided by such structure. In addition, the air heading above to below on the rear surface of the frame chassis 3 passes the vent holes 34 and 35 even in both of use of vertical placement and horizontal placement, thereby, a sufficient air flow rate may be obtained. Cooling efficiency is, therefore, improved to suppress the temperature elevation of the display panel 1, and the damage of the display panel 1 occurring due to temperature elevation can be avoided.
