PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to achieve a stable display on whole screen area. SOLUTION: In a plasma address liquid crystal display device having plural plasma channels 4 provided with discharge electrodes 6 which are partitioned by parallel barriers 2 corresponding to reference electrodes 7 and are each covered with plural dielectric substances 5 for performing plasma discharge, the discharge electrodes 6 consists of a pair of transparent electrodes 8 provided with a predetermined electrode width and electrode interval, and bus electrodes 9 which are formed out of a material with a lower electric resistance than the transparent electrodes 8 and arranged along the transparent electrode 8 corresponding to each transparent electrode 8.
