The filler for printer cartridges has a cylindrical filling spigot (12) with a concentric flow bore (52) for the filling material. A pressure casing (46) concentrically surrounds the spigot. Claws (40) are mounted on the end of the spigot to receive the end of the cartridge and a valve cap pushed the spigot rearwardly to allow filling.
