PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable local resin impregnation only into the working part of a sintering metallic stock by abutting a member infiltrated and held with a liq. thermosetting resin on the desired part of the sintering metallic material for a time in accordance with the impregnated depth and executing thermosetting. SOLUTION: A member infiltrated and held with a liq. thermosetting resin is formed so as to be fitted with the shape of the working face, and a jig is formed in such a manner that the member is abutted on the working face. The jig is composed of a substrate and a sheet member which is a porous or fibrous substance pasted and deposited on the surface. A cylindrical jig 2 which is exactly fitted to the continuous recessed part in the case bearing cap core members 10 are plurally arranged is prepd. A sheet part 23 made of felt is impregnated with a sufficient thermosetting resin, which is engagedly mounted on the recessed line of a bearing face 11. A liq. resin is slowly impregnated into the bearing face which is the working face. In consideration of the working depth, when the impregnation progresses to a layer of 2 mm, the jig is detached, and it is passed on to a heat treating stage. The resin has been impregnated into the part to be subjected to machining, and its machinability is satisfactory.
