PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the open/close operation mechanism of a stroller folding mechanism excellent in an operability realizing the simplification of a structure by increasing the transmission efficiency of operating force and constituting a pulley and an operation lever. SOLUTION: In an opening and closing operation mechanism 10, the opening and closing of a folding mechanism is operated through a wire remotely. The pulley for wire winding 14 and an operation lever 16 for rotatingly driving this are supported turnably and integrally around a common shaft 15. The pulley for wire winding 14 is directly driven by the operation lever 16. The pulley for wire winding 14 is constituted integrally with the operation lever 16 and a safety lever for regulating the rotation of the pulley for wire winding 14 is provided and a projection engageable with the safety lever is provided on the proper place of the pulley for wire winding 14 or operation lever 16.
