PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively sterilize by shortening the low temperature or high temperature holding time of bacteria, such as endospore bacteria, having heat resistance and pressure resistance. SOLUTION: An energizing unit 9 for sterilizing liquid is arranged within a pressurized vessel 1. The top end of this energizing unit 9 is connected to a liquid supply port 3 and the bottom end thereof is connected to a storage section 10 cooled by cooling water 7. The liquid which is stored in a storage section 10 and with which the sterilization treatment ends is taken outside the vessel 1 from a take-out port 4 via piping 11.
