<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for steel excellent in the balance of high desulfurizing characteristic, high safety at the time of treating slag and non-erosion property to a refractory material. SOLUTION: This additive is composed of 15-70 wt.% CaO, 5-60 wt.% CaCN2 and >25 wt.% to 50 wt.% one or more kinds of inorganic materials selected from oxide, hydroxide, carbonate of any of various metals and metal of Al, Mg, Ca, Si, Mn and Fe or alloy consisting essentially of at least one kind of these metal components and carbonaceous material.</p> |
