PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device low in heat loss to an external environment and a heat control method in this device. SOLUTION: A heat storage device comprises a heat storage material 1 having a remarkable supercooling phenomenon for storing heat, a heat storage tank 2 filled with the heat storage material 1 and a heat exchanger 4 performing the injection and extraction of heat between the heat storage material 1 and the external part or the heat storage tank 2. In the heat storage device, heat is stored in the heat storage material 1 under a supercooled state lower than a freezing point. Upon extraction of heat, heat discharged in a recovery process of the heat storage material 1 to the temperature of freezing point and a subsequent freezing process is used. Thus, the heat storage material is stored at temperature lower than the temperature upon recovery of heat, so that heat loss to an external environment is decreased during the storage of heat. |
